Woman Sexually Assaulted Near Karaoke Bar in Queens

NEW YORK - A woman standing outside a Queens karaoke bar was dragged into an alley and sexually assaulted by a man whose image was caught on surveillance video, the NYPD said.  

At around 5 am on December 3, a 43-year-old woman was standing in front of a Queens karaoke bar on Northern Boulevard. Cops said a man in a black hoodie grabbed the woman and pulled her into an alleyway across from the bar. 

In the alley the man proceeded to sexually abuse the victim. The attacker then slipped out of the alley and fled on foot westbound on Northern Boulevard. 

The victim was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries. She is listed in stable condition. 

The suspect’s image was caught on surveillance outside the bar. 

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap with the white Adidas logo on the front of the hat. He was also seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light colored pants and black sneakers.
