NEW YORK - A 60-year-old man is recuperating in the wake of being beaten and cut across the face by a gang of six people in an apparent random attack.

At around 11:30 am on November 10, a 60-year-old man was inside Devoe Park, opposite Fordham Terrace. Cops said four men and two women encompassed the man and without advance notice started punching him.

Cops said the gathering over and over whaled on the man punching him all through the body. Then, at that point, at least one of the group took out a sharp item and started cutting the victim across the face and neck.

The aggressors then ran out of the park and escaped in two sedans.

The NYPD delivered surveillance video taken of the suspects escaping the park.
