Surveillance Video Captures Beret Wearing, Knife-Wielding Suspect - NYPD Says

NEW YORK - The NYPD is searching for a beret wearing elderly straphanger for allegedly menacing a teenager with a knife.
At around 1:30 pm on October 25, a 13-year-old male was riding a Number 1 train approaching the 66th Street-Lincoln Center subway station. An elder man approached the teen and started an argument with him.
Cops said the man displayed a knife and threatened to stab the teen.

When the train stopped at the station, the knife-wielding suspect ran out of the car and out of the station.
The NYPD released a cell phone photo of the suspect inside the subway car.
The suspect is described as a light skinned male with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black beret, black winter jacket and green turtleneck. He was also wearing eyeglasses.
