Bucket Hat Wearing Gunman Shot Woman - Cops Say

BRONX - Police are looking for a man wearing a bucket hat who, they say, shot a woman on the streets of the Bronx during an argument.



At around 2 am on September 22, a 41-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of East 215 Street and White Plains Road when she was approached by a man wearing a bucket hat.


The man started an argument with the woman. As the argument escalated, the man pulled out a gun and opened fire, cops said. 


The woman was hit in the chest and left shoulder.


The gunman fled on foot northbound on White Plains Road.  



The woman was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where she was listed in stable condition.


Police just released new surveillance video of the suspect.


He is described as a male with a dark complexion and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a light colored bucket hat, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and light colored sweatpants.
