BRONX - An infant discovered dead inside an apartment in the Throggs Neck Houses last year has been ruled a homicide by the city’s Medical Examiner.
At around 9 pm on April 3, 2022, officers from the 45th Precint and PSA#8 responded to a call for a child in distress at 515 Calhoun Avenue in the Throggs Neck Houses. Cops found 6-month-old Dalilah Crespo unconscious and unreponsive in the bathtub.
EMS transported the infant to Jacobi Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.
The Medial Examiner’s Office today announced that the child’s death was a homicide but the have not determined a cause of death.
No arrests have been made at this time.
